We understand that you're looking for a way to recover a message that was deleted in your Message app. We'd be glad to see how we can help you with this. Do you know if you have Messages in iCloud enabled for your iPhone? You can check this by going into your Settings app > [your name] > iCloud. If this feature is already enabled, you won't be able to retrieve your message as your iPhone would have already synced your current messages to the servers in iCloud. You can learn more about this feature by reviewing the information in Use Messages in iCloud.

However, if this feature is disabled, you may still be able to retrieve your messages from a previous backup that would contain them. You'll want to note that this would mean you'll have to restore your iPhone from a backup to get the old messages. To see if you have a backup that can be used, check out Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. If you're able to find one and would like to continue restoring your iPhone, follow the steps in Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup. Be sure to save any data you may have added to your iPhone after the timestamp of your backup.
