Album pricing policy

I looked up an album called "Illumination: Peaceful Gregorian Chants" arranged by Dan Gibson part

of the Solitudes collection. Each song is priced at the customary $1.29 there are 8 songs on the album simple math equates the total price to be $10.32 yet the full album price is listed at $11.61. Why is there a discrepancy? Admittedly, this is merely and inconvenience for myself as I can purchase each song individually and save a $1.29. I was wondering why the full album costs more than the total sum of the songs being purchased?
