Hi all - I'm moving from a company-paid iPHone 11, down to an older iPhone 7 that I'm just adding to my family's wireless plan. Wondering if I'm able to transfer the 11 data over to the 7 (different than transferring from an older phone to a new phone) -

Yes. Both are capable of running the current version of iOS.
The only restriction is that the target phone must be running the same version of iOS (or newer) as the source device.
There shouldn't be any issues.
Of course, the other restriction, which I failed to mention as it should go without saying, is that the target device must have enough storage to actually accommodate the data that is on the source device.
Excellent - and thank you so much for the super-quick response. So once I've activate the older (target) phone, I'll need to ensure all updates are current, correct? Meaning - the target phone is running 13.3.1 and the iPhone 11 is on 14.6.
Do you foresee an issue updating from 13.3.1 to 14.6 on the target phone?

so sorry - forgot to ask: I'm getting ready to erase all content and settings on the target phone. That will just erase on the phone itself, and will not erase anything in the cloud, correct?
