Time Machine backup fails
When the system starts to activate the standby mode, Time Machine fails to create backups on the external drive. It seems to me, that the backupd fails to copy some files and it is never the same file/directory.
System Environment:
- Western Digital 3TB drive;
- formatted a few days ago in APFS (upper/lower) Encryption
- three years old drive
- Name TM_Backup_2021
For example the backup fails for first time at 15:41:14ff

Afterwards I have ejected the volume in the Finder and tried to activate the volume with Disk Utility again, but the process fails:

Then I turned off the power supply of the external drive and turned it on again. The Mac activated the volume and I was capable to perform a backup with Time Machine again.
What is the problem with Time Machine and the external drive?
Shouldn't I use APFS?
Thx
Michael
