I purchased a new iPad 11 from Apple and I set it up with Verizon they don’t seem to know anything about a $200 gift card that you advertise with them what’s going on

"Verizon Special Offer: Get a $200 Gift Card. Limited time offer through June 27, 2021. Activate your own cellular iPad online at Verizon.com. Select a consumer Unlimited or Unlimited Plus data plan. How to Redeem: Submit promotional application through vzw.com/myverizon within 30 days of activation. [...]"

Did you activate a new consumer Unlimited or Unlimited Plus data plan? (Replacing an older device might not count. Limited data plans definitely do not count.)

I was chatting with apple support and verizon support for literally hours on this today. Apple saying talk to Verizon. Verizon saying we don’t know what you’re talking about talk to Apple. FINALLY the Verizon guy found it.

• put UNLOCKEDIPAD200 for promo code; purchase data in the purchase field. then fill out the subsequent pages with your email, cell #, address, etc.
• Make sure to click on terms of service and agree, it won’t let you proceed otherwise.

Yes, of course you have to activate service on it, as you would with any chosen carrier on a cellular iPad...
