my child forgot her passcode
okay. so my child made a passcode on the iPad and forgot it. the iPad is now disabled and i have tried to restore i but it won't.

The passcode is stored only on the device so there is no way of retrieving it. I'm afraid your only option is to erase the iPad. Please see If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support. You may then be able to restore the contents if you had made a backup.
