9.7” iPad Pro Replacement

What should I look for as a replacement in the future? I’ve been getting ghost-touch issues with it whenever it’s charging. It’s the 256GB model, amazing in that regard, and I’m not sure what I should replace it with. Not the iPad Mini, but out of what’s currently out, what would be the best value option given the features I currently have. It’s still supported on the software OS end, but I’m not particularly tech savvy when it comes to understanding upgrades.

I would only consider the 2020 10.9 inch screen, iPad Air 4 ( IF budget and finances are are priority consideration ) OR the newest 2021, 11 inch screen iPad Pro.

Both of these models will be HUGE improvements over your 5-year old, 2016 9.7 inch screen iPad Pro.

The 11 inch screen iPad Pro, feature-wise, will be improvement parity to your older iPad Pro.

The 2020 iPad Air 4 ONLY has some of the more current model iPad Pro features but NOT all.

The 2020 iPad Air 4 uses the newer USB-C connection, instead of Apple's proprietary Lightning port connection.

The 2020 iPad Air 4 uses the 2nd gen Pencil and will NOT work with the 1st gen Pencil.

The 2020 iPad Air only has true two stereo speakers, instead of 4 speakers.

You'll get an A14 CPU ( Your current iPad Pro has an A9X ).

You'll get 4 GBs of internal processing RAM ( your current iPad only has 2 GBs of internal RAM ).

Get the most internal data storage amount you can afford as NO Apple iOS/iPadOS devices have expandable internal data storage.
