The ‘Gold’ case appears to be Rose tone gold but the ‘Gold’ stainless steel band appears to be Yellow tone gold.
Can you please confirm this or do they match?

This is correct. I recently purchased a "gold" Watch V6 that came with a pink sport band and also purchased the "gold" melanese band and they DO NOT MATCH. In fact they look awful together! I returned the band immediately.
I then purchased a band through Amazon for $18.00 that matches perfectly.
PLEASE APPLE -- MAKE A MELANESE BAND THAT MATCHES THE "GOLD" VERSION 6 WATCH.
