My apple tv remote scrolls down by itself. Like it's haunted. And the ghost wants to see what's down there.

My apple tv remote won't stop scrolling down by itself. Even while I'm not touching it. This makes it impossible to use. I've reset by pressing menu and volume up. I've unplugged. I've reset back to factory settings. None of this has helped. Please let me know if anybody has any suggestions. Thanks.
