Hi I can’t download WhatsApp on my iPhone 4 because it say download the latest software so and when I download it is say an error occurred

this is not working because your phone (iPhone 4 ).
no longer updates meaning it is outdated so you cant download WhatsApp because of the outdated software .
in simple words your phone is no longer supported for WhatsApp.
the only way to get WhatsApp is to get a new phone.
