New ipad pro Gen 3does not sync itunes?

Hate the new ipad pro, gen 3. Bought the ipad for the express purpose of syncing itunes and PC does not communicate with ipad. Tried turning the PC and ipad off and on, and still nothing!!

Your new iPad is unlikely to be the source of your frustration. First, ensure that you have updated to the most recent version of iTunes:
