I have an iPhone XR that only displays the status bar at the top of the screen. The backlight is on, but no other part of the screen works. The screen was replaced after it was damaged, and the new screen does the same thing. The screen still responds to touch, so we can still use it with voiceover,
Hopefully just a new screen is required but other repair costs are included below.
