No IOS in Sidebar List

IOS is missing from my sidebar. It only lists CD’s, DVD’s and iPods. I’ve checked and unchecked them. Restarted iPhone and Mac. Doesn’t help. Can you? Running 10.11.6 El Capitan

MacBook Pro 17″, OS X 10.11

What macOS version is your Mac running?

iPhones and iPads will only show up in the Finder's side bar if you are running macOS 10.15 Catalina or Later.

Otherwise, the iPhones and iPads will show up in iTunes only.

Open up a Finder window.

Click on Finder in the menubar then click on Preferences> General.

Check the box for the options you want to see.

The Finder Sidebar should show the items you have checked above.

If you don't see items in the Sidebar then move your cursor to the right hand side of the Sidebar

to see the Show/ Hide option, click Show to see the items or Hide to hide.
