Delete individual files of bin

I am using m1 macbook air. The bin of my Mac is not showing any option to delete individual files of bin. If I want to delete something permanently then I have an option as "Empty bin" but I don't want to delete all the files, I just want to delete a single file. Is there any solution for my problem.

The "bin" is a trash can and that is usually the place where you place things that need to be deleted permanently. It is not considered a "storage" bin. That is why emptying the trash is all or nothing.

If you want to get rid of only one file, then you need to temporarily move the other items back to your desktop, empty the trash, and place the other items back into the trash.

A much better way would be to create a folder on your desktop, called "trash?" and put in there anything you are not sure you actually want to get rid of it.
