Compressor error on FCPX file

I've tried to render a file twice in Compressor to reduce the size and it keeps failing. The file exports fine from FCPX but it's too large which is why I need to re-render it. See attached.

What can I do and what's causing this?

Running FCPX 10.5.2 on Mac O/S 10.15.6

iMac Line (2012 and Later)

The disclosure triangle is the triangle at the head of the selected item. As the downward pointing triangles in the image. It looks like the render is failing on one shot at that frame number or the frame before it. It’s probably a corrupted file. The shot may be corrupt or have a corrupt render file in FCP and that’s being carried in to the FCP export, or FCP is corrupting the file at that point.

You can check that in FCP by changing the General preferences to display frames. Then go to that frame number and see what’s happening. Delete the FCP render files to be safe.

If you have created a custom preset in Compressor you can use that directly in FCP. You can add it in using FCP’s Destination preferences.

I have about 1.74TB of space on my HD so space isn't gonna be the issue.

I actually exported a master of my file from FCPX and I'm just testing this in Compressor to see if it's the file or a Compressor issue.

My error message I posted but here it is again. I don't know what frame it's referring to though. What's a disclosure triangle?

I was the using the Video Sharing HD 1080p preset but change the mbps to 11,000 instead of 14454 in order to get the file under 5GB so I can transfer it more easily.

Okay - I put my master file (48GB) (which I'd exported from FCPX) into Compressor with the same settings and it exported really quickly, with no issues whatsoever.

So it seems that this could be a bug in Compressor? It's been full of issues since I got it to be honest - very flaky. I've already had to delete it and replace it from App Store once already.

Oh - thanks - I'd never realised that I could change to frames - I'd never needed that before!

The clip is fine, nothing wrong with it.

I've managed to get around it by exporting a master from FCPX and then taking that into Compressor, so I've got my 5GB now!

But I will delete the generated files now - I just needed to get this humungous edit out of the way...
