IOS 14.6 slow, signal and wifi issues.

Hi,


Is anyone experiencing issues with IOS 14.6?


My phone is shutting down at 8%, whereas before it would run to 1% before dying, battery is draining quicker.


But, the main issue is signal is poor, calls are dropping and not connecting and wifi just continuously disconnects.


I've put my phone into DFU and started completely fresh, it's not worked, now I'm stuck with a phone that won't download anything due to the wifi dropout.

We understand that you are having several issues going on after updating your iPhone to iOS 14.6. We would like to help you with these issue and as they are different issue, we have a couple of different article for you to address the different issues.


First, for the Wi-Fi connection issue, take a look at the following support article: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support. While this article specifically mentions not connecting to a Wi-Fi network, the same steps will apply to the Wi-Fi signal dropping.


Next, for the issue with dropping calls, take a look at this article: If you can't make or receive calls on your iPhone - Apple Support

I’m on 14.6 and apps, browsing, etc just freeze. The phone itself feels laggy, delayed app launches, decreased battery life, etc. iOS 14 in general hasn’t been very beneficial to me. iPhone 11


everything is up to date…I suppose I’ll restore my phone but it’s annoying when software updates reduce the user experience on a device to the point of nuke/paving it

Same problems here. iPhone 12 mini running iOS 14.6 and WiFi doesn’t work. All of my other devices are working fine, so I know it’s not the network. I can resolve the issues by turning off WiFi and using cellular data, but clearly that is not an ideal fix. I’ve powercycled the phone and reset the network settings. Neither helped. Would love to know how to resolve this!

Coming here specifically for the wifi issue and the article posted doesn’t help at all. My wife and I both have had wifi issues ever since upgrading our phones to 14.6. Apps are taking long to load, and it is frequently freezing or disconnecting.


This issue isn’t happening with any other devices on our wifi network, it’s not happening when we’re using LTE, and it’s happening any time we connect to any wifi network anywhere.
