quick question.
For a a clean reinstall of Big Sur Do I need to sign out of iCloud account before the erase and reinstall.
I plan to restore my Mac after the clean install with my time machine backup.

The only time you need to sign of your iCloud account is when you're erasing the drive before selling, recycling or giving it away like this Apple document describes: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac - Apple Support
