Cannot transfer files or photos between iPhone and PC

After successfully pairing the two devices. I can actually see that the iPhone is connected to the PC on the phone and the iPhone on the PC in Windows 10.

But there is no way to do the transfer.

  1. AirDrop does not work.
  2. The PC file explorer does not show the iPhone in the directory tree
  3. You can't message from the iPhone to the PC
  4. No option appears in the iPhone file folder or photo apps that allows you to transfer between the devices.


This question has been asked before and the instructions given never include actually moving the data from one device to the other. They basically just describe how to pair the devices. I've done that, they are paired .


How are you suppose to use the connection between the two paired devices?

Thanks for your response. I have already read the information from the links you supplied. They do not help if a person wants to use iPhone to PC Window 10 using Bluetooth. You can pair the iPhone and PC but there is no method for using it to actually transferring data or photos via this method.. if you have specific instructions on how to complete the transfer please post. It may be a part of the Apple software that is not functioning.
