Restoring WhatsApp backup from Google Drive

I've just got an iPhone 12 Pro Max and was wondering how do I restore my WhatsApp messages that were on my previous Android phone and backed up to Google Drive?

You don't.

WhatsApp has not made it possible to transfer data between platforms.
