Can’t sync music from new iPhone 12 to I WATCH

I just recently upgraded to an IPhone 12 from and 8. I hooked up my watch to new phone but I can’t download my iTunes playlist to watch. It has less than the 250 songs which is the max.

I’m not sure if you can download iTunes songs on Apple Watch, I would assume so, so hear are some tips on how to get your music downloaded.
