"device is unreachable" how to fix this issue?

All,

I have been trying to fix this issue for quite some time. I have tried the tips and trick out there, for instance, that choose the option "Keep Original" instead of the "Automatic" option under Photo Setting but still don't resolve the issue.

I am trying to transfer my media (photos and videos) from my iPhone directly (using apple USB) to my windows 10.

I have reached to Apple Chat Customer Support but seems like they don't know how to fix it either. All they recommended were updating the iPhone IOS, update the iTunes, change the cable, etc etc etc.

All those stuff that I have tried before I reached out to them.

Can anybody out there know how to fix this issue?

Why can't apple just make this media transfer simple??

Thank you

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 14

Hello Device-is-unreachable,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you’re having a problem with importing photos and media from your iPhone to your Windows 10. We would be happy to help!

When you connect your phone to your computer what happens? Are you using iCloud?

If you are using iCloud, you can try Set up and use iCloud Photos on your Windows PC. Also, you can go to iCloud and download your pictures from the web straight to your computer.

Cheers!
