How do I find 24-bit 192 kHz tracks on Apple?

How can I find the hi-res music content available? I want to use iPhone with external DAC to access 24-bit 192 kHz tracks.

As also replied by Haimsheffer, we know we need external DAC, which is digital to ANALOG converter not AUDIO.

And it is not an effective way to find the tracks buy individually opening a song and checking.

When the hi res upgrade came along it was also dropped with Spatial Audio Dolby Atmos tracks and as we can see there is specific section for those tracks.

You need to create a section for hi res music too and as also mentioned earlier a filter to search music qualities.

The only 24 bit 192khz tracks I have come across that are worth listening to so far are Coldplay first 3 albums.

Hopefully this can be rectified in the next update.

Hello peteburbs,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! We understand you want to know how to find the high resolution music content that's available. We're happy to assist you with this.

Good job finding the correct article that provides information on lossless audio in Apple Music.

You have to check individually which albums/tracks reach 24 bit 192 kHz resolution.

To know the sample rate of a lossless song, just tap on the lossless icon under the playback progress bar. Keep in mind that hi-res (24 bit 192 kHz) lossless is available only with an external DAC (Digital Audio Converter).

You can also find more information on lossless songs with Apple Music here: Apple Music

Best Regards.

Our question was very simple how to find high res lossless audio.

we will provide solution, at least include that feature in Apple Music. Add an option to filter AAC, lossless and high res lossless music. Seems your team doesn’t get this idea ever to implement, no problem your customers are quite smarter than your engineers or developers at your arena.

In Apple Music we have categories, in that we have several options to choose. Let us say if I select 90s music it only portrays English songs, doesn’t have an option to prefer language and country. It’s kind of discrimination for other languages and countries.

just demonstrate some empathy towards other languages as well. I’m from India.
