How to import my music files into iPod Again?

I had all my music library, and vids on my Ipod Touch 32GB 3rd for the last two weeks, this morning when I turned it on all the music and vids were gone. After doing a sync numerous times my iTunes will not upload/transfer to my device. Is there something I'm doing wrong. Most were vids and music fro YouTube, and other websites. My Apps and everything else is fine. Thanks

I found the answer. Somehow the box to sync got unchecked....hate when that happens, as I don't have any idea how it did that. Now I have all my music, and vids back on the device. I have to thank someone here that told me how to get the free Pdf formatted Google books go transfer. On the Ipod you need some pretty good glasses to read them, but what the hey, it works.
