Hi, my question is about the Apple Watch series 3. Can you use your AirPods straight off your watch with the series 3, or do you still need your phone. I know one of the watches can do it, I just don’t know which one

Yes you can use your AirPods on your Apple Watch without having your iPhone with you.
when you pair AirPods with your iPhone it will simultaneously pair with all your iCloud devices, this includes Apple Watch.
if for some reason the AirPods haven’t paired with your Apple Watch then on the watch you can go to settings > Bluetooth and pair the airpods manually.
