How to reset password on phone

How do I reset my phone password I put it but I can’t recall or if it’s correct it’s just not working I don’t know why

If you mean the screen unlock passcode See this Apple support link→If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
