My charger won’t work?

The charger that came with my iPhone isn’t working, and it isn’t the location I plugged it in, since I tried plugging it in somewhere else, and it isn’t the cube either. My cord doesn’t have any visible damage except some odd blue coloring at the top, can someone please explain why it won’t work!??
