How do you to convert a .pvt to quick time or .mp4?

I don’t think you can. I’m assuming you mean Peter Bone's Pivot Animator files, and not Fidonet pointlist files. There are no iOS apps that I can find that will open them, only Pivot Animator for Windows. It may have a way to export to other formats.
