Hi varinia257,

We understand you're running into some problems reinstalling the Health app on your iPhone, and we want to help. To clarify, are you not seeing it in the App Store when searching for it?

The steps in "Restore a built-in app that you removed" may help as well: Remove built-in Apple apps from the Home screen on your iOS 10 device or Apple Watch

Let us know what you find and we'll work from there!

Have a great day.

Hi varinia257,

You're welcome! Is the app visible if you try to search for it in the App Library? If so, here's how to move it back to the Home screen:

Organize the Home Screen and App Library on your iPhone

At this time, the Health app isn't one of the built-in apps that can be deleted from the iPhone, however, it may be hidden. We'll do our best to help you locate it again.

All the best.

Please share how you did that. I would absolutely love to delete it as I have no use for it and no wish to share that kind of detail with a rapacious corporation eager to monetize my most personal details.

You can't delete it. Whatever problem the OP has, it wasn't caused by deleting the Health app.

The Health app does not share your data with Apple.

Who knows, maybe the OP found an as yet unknown work around to shut it off. And, of course Apple do. If the tool is there and the data is being gathered, there will be a way in which can be accessed. If not today, then at another time. It is not an innocent tool that they simply "can't" allow us to delete, it's there because they have plans for our data.

There isn't one.

Beliefs reached without reason can't be changed with reason. So, I won't bother trying.

Best of luck.
