Phone tries to login to someone else's Apple ID. No way to change login?

Every time i need to update my apps it tries logging into someone else's ID. I have my password and I am logged into my profile but when it comes time for verification I am denied. Or if i try to move forward by pretending I don't have my password it tells me I have an unknown error that occurred. I tried going through the steps from another thread on here and that did nothing.

Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them. If an update is asking for a different ID, then it sounds like that app was purchased with that ID. You need to purchase it with your ID and delete the other one.
