Can I replace an Apple Pencil that is engraved and has been damaged within the 1 year warranty?

The limited warranty does not cover accidental damage. General failure of the Pencil may be covered by warranty - and if so, may qualify for a replacement Pencil. When replaced, personalised (i.e., engraved) products are replaced with a non-personalised item.
