When I restore my backup on a new phone (iPhone 8) all my Apps did not restore on the new phone. Apps such as Waze, Netflix, Apple TV and etc.
If the apps came from the App Store, you can re-download them. Find the App in the store and click on small cloudlike symbol to download the App to your new phone.
