Lost password to log in on my iPad Pro is there any way to reset the password code

Do you mean passcode? - the four or six digit number used to lock a particular device? As this is stored only opn the device it's not possible to retrieve it, and I'm afraid your only option is to erase the iPad. If you mean the password to your Apple ID please see If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support - this would apply everywhere you use the ID including here (unless you have more than one). You may be able to view the password in Keychain Access on a Mac.
