My iPhone must have gotten condensation it

My iPhone must have gotten condensation it it from being outside of the shower because when I went to call someone my speaker for phonecalls wasn't working but my speaker when playing a song was. I got in my car, and put it on the dock that blows out air. I didn't realize that there was water damage, but when I went to answer the phone, my phone was going crazy. I couldn't hear the person talking and they couldn't hear me.

I then put it in rice, I did a factory reset via iTunes, and the screen has a white line vertically up from the battery to the top of the screen. I waited, did the reset, but walked away from my computer and it seemed as though the update was done, however, my apple symbol on my phone was still blinking. I plugged my iPhone back in, keeping it in rice and am attempting to do the reset again. Now my iTunes says Preparing iPhone for Software Update

SOS PLEASE HELP!

The whole rice thing is a myth.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar. Your phone will probably have to be replaced. Liquid damage is not repairable.
