Apple Maps no voice for turn by turn Range Rover 2020

If that does not help, can you clarify if you're using an application through Range Rover to connect between car and phone, or are you using any other third party apps?

For all of those who have the Range Rover Evoque. I too have had the issue with no voice direction turn by turn via the CarPlay on my car. It isn't the phone that's a problem. But the update that Range rover did with the car via ICTP which in turn taken out the voice turn by turn out of google maps via Apple CarPlay. Ive asked many in the main headquarters this question and they keep telling me its the phone. Well it's not. It's their software update. that for some reason taken out the turn by turn out of CarPlay.

Most of them don't even know about it. But those who do. Don't seem to care enough to at least acknowledge the truth to inform us. It's a bug that has to be fixed and don't know when. I am frustrated as well.

I have this exact same issue!

I have an iphone 10xs max, running latest iphone software. Worked fine on this car for over one year, then stopped suddenly. All software on my 2020 Range rover evoque are up to date. Apple maps gives voice directions via carplay on all other cars but not the Range rover. All other nav programs, including google maps and waze, give voice directions. All other music programs and apple music play fine. If not plugged into car, bluetooth does give voice directions over phone itself.

I have tried many times to raise the volume at a time when car volume drops, when it appears to be changing directional directions , so as to increase nav volume, but does not work. Have rechecked all car settings and apple maps volume settings. SO, I have been using google maps, but cant figure out why apple maps no longer gives voice directions on this one car only......

Just took ownership of a 2020 Land Rover discovery and I don't have the turn by turn voice guidance. Thought it was the vehicle but I have noticed that a lot of people are encountering the same thing and appears that this has been going on since 2018. Is Apple looking at this, could be a compatibility issue or a bug of some kind.

If anyone out there knows a fix please let me know as this is very frustrating
