My Canon 4200 stopped working with iMac last update--HELP

How can I restore operation of my Canon 4200 Printer (it stopped after last iMac software update)

Please do the following in this order:



Please remember printer & scanner drivers are provided to Apple by the manufacturer of the device. When a manufacturer (lets say Epson in this case) does not supply up-to-date drivers that is their way of telling you to buy a new device.


If your device is a scanner, then please use the pre-installed ImageCapture app. If Image Capture does not work, you can also try Vuescan available at VueScan Scanner Software for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. To learn more about Image Capture please click Image Capture Scan images in Image Capture on Mac
