How do I turn off quicktake?

We are happy to help with the issue you are having with QuickTake. There is not a way to disable QuickTake but there are different ways to capture a QuickTake video so perhaps you are accidentally enabling it. One way is to press and hold the Shutter button. Another way is to hold down one of the volume buttons. Take a look at Use QuickTake to capture video while taking photos.
