Apple Watch SE Battery?

I bought a SE in April and for the first two weeks it was functioning normally. Now my watch will “die” while having a battery percentage of 20-99%. When this happens, the only way to turn on the watch on is to put it on the charger to restart. This morning my watch “died” after about 2 hours of wear time and when I connected it to the charger it was at 99% battery life…. Is there a simple fix for this or will I just need a new watch?

If it less than 90 days old, it may still be covered by the AppleCare warranty.
