Keynote won't download

Hi - when I click the download icon in the app store, I get a progress circle for 1 second with no error message and no download. Trying to download Keynote on MacBook Air Catalina. Thoughts?

I recently had a similar problem. Things to try:

Restart your Mac.
Sign out of the Mac App Store and then back in.

If neither of those work, then you could try the command line approach explained here and elsewhere.
