1st gen 4K remote compatibility
Will the 1st gen 4K remote work with the 3rd Gen Apple TV? I just bought the new remote for my 1st 4K and would like to use its remote with the older 3rd generation in my bedroom.

Unfortunately not. The Siri Remote uses bluetooth, and the 3rd generation only supports a bluetooth keyboard, no other bluetooth devices. You will need to use the IR remote with the 3rd generation.
