iPad forgotten password

I did everything the reset said to do and it said, "iPad disabled for 5 minutes". I don't know what else to do.. Can someone help?

You would either have to wait the time and try again but after 10 failed attempts the iPad will be disabled without any timer and will require a fully restore. Follow this resource for assistance;
