I am attempting to downgrade my iCloud to the free amount on my Apple account. I am able to enter and manage my account, even the done button works, however when I go to check it, it reverts to my monthly charges.

Why are my changes to downgrade my iCloud storage not retained on completion? This relats to my iPad Mini, iPhone 11 and Laptop PC.

Downgrade or cancel your iCloud storage plan - Apple Support
- "If you can't click Done, make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID as your iCloud storage plan. You can also try following these steps on a different device. If you still need help, contact Apple Support."
