iPhone USB C lightning cable and 20W power adapter connection

My newish USB C lightning cable is loose where it plugs into the 20W power adapter. It works if I wiggle it but does not keep connected. Any suggestions? TIA

Buy a new cable.

Nothing good ever comes from a loose cable and it will NOT get better.

The USB-C design intentionally places the spring-loaded, wearing, “moving” elements of the connector on the cable (vice on the device).

(It’s cheaper to replace a cable than a device)
