How to cancel a subscription?

My mom gave me a iPad she works from schools and she got to have one and she gave it to me but I don’t know how to cancel the subscription.plz let me know what to do thnx

If by "cancel the subscription" you mean sign out of iCloud on the iPad, you will need the assistance of the previous owner. There is no known way to bypass activation lock. Also see: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201441
