How can I connect thunderbolt 2 to HDMI? I can not seem to find an adaptor for this application.

What you need is “Mini Display Port to HDMI”

Here’s one carried in the Apple Store:

Thank you, I did not know that mini display port plugged into the thunderbolt port.

It’s a piece of cake compared to trying to explain the different “Flavors of Data and Power” that can possibly be sent thru a USB-C connection.
