the leave this conversation option is not there
the leave conversation options is not coming up. how do I leave a group chat i was added to by someone i don't even know?

Unfortunately you can only leave a group chat if ALL users are on iPhones which is unlikely. This is a carrier issue, not Apple. I would contact your provider.
