Safari tabs are gone after iOS 14.6 update
why the heck did I update my iPhone XR to iOS 14.6 or whatever and all my **** safari tabs are gone! I need them back!! NOW.

It’s not possible to answer any “why” question. All I can tell you is my Safari tabs are still there. If your available storage is marginal iOS may remove what it considers non-essential data to make room to complete a process, such as an update. But surely if they were important sites they were bookmarked, and you can just reopen them from their bookmarks.
