So I am apart of a family sharing account with a primary payment method. Now, normally I can just add funds from my personal apple wallet without charging the primary payment method. However now all of a sudden I am no longer able to add to my account without using a physical giftcard or my primary method of payment which is not my own. Is there a way to fix this or am I SOL?

Unless you are the Family Sharing organizer, you are SOL. A family member can only add funds to their account by using Gift Cards or charging the organizer's credit card.
As far as I know, it has always been this way.
Was this something that was just added recently? I swear I was able to add funds before just by using my own card?
I try adding fund to my Apple wallet but I keeps popping up contact iTunes support
