Can’t log out of Facebook on safari on iphone

I click top-right on FB, as normal, but always get stuck on a white screen with a stuck wheel. Already did steps in a previous response to a question like this. It logs me out one time. Log into another account and then back to old issue of not logging out. Shouldn’t have to do this every time
