Apple TV Remote App is not recognized as a game controller

Hi,

I just got the new Apple TV 4k and tried some games on it. However, the new siri remote doesn't have an accelerometer which makes it incompatible with many games. So, i decided to use my iphone 6s as a controller with the built-in control center tv remote, but it doesn't give me the option to change its layout when there is a game on Apple TV.

So my problem is how can i use iphone's accelerometer and gyroscope on games that demand those on my new Apple 4K TV games.
