Accessing my hulu live tv account through my apple tv device

I have two of the newest version apple devices set up in my home that are synced to act as one. I have a subscription to Hulu live tv that I can access on my iphone and my Samsung tv hulu app without using the apple box turned on. My other tv is older and must have the apple device on to watch hulu. If I turn the apple devices on and click on the hulu app, I get hulu with no live options (different version of hulu I suspect). How do I gain access to my Hulu live tv in both rooms?

I have tried restarting both apple tv devices, I have reset my home internet router, I have deleted and opened the hulu app form the app store numerous times, etc. The Hulu app is not the issue since I can access my account from other devices.
